Easter Continues!

The 50 days of Easter begins on Easter Sunday and continues until the day of Pentecost. Known as the Easter season or Eastertide, it is celebrated as a single joyful feast called the “great Lord’s Day.” Each Sunday within this time is treated as a Sunday of Easter, a time of happiness and celebration of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. The paschal candle is lit at every service as a sign of the risen Christ. It’s a time we reflect on the promise of eternal life and the victory of life over death and maintain the energy and excitement of the Easter greeting. The season concludes with Pentecost.
